Raters Certified by MABTEC
The
national training and certification standards for HERS (Home Energy
Rating System) Raters were created by RESNET and are recognized by
federal government agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Mortgage
Industry.
What can a Certified HERS Rater do?
Certified HERS Raters can perform Home Energy Audits, Home Energy Ratings, ENERGY STAR new home certification and Energy Efficient Mortgage certifications. Additionally, HERS Raters are certified to perform blower door testing, duct tester testing and other energy related services.
