Test proctoring

RESNET HERS Test Proctoring

As an accredited HERS Training Provider, we can setup RESNET exams to be proctored either at an approved location or here at our office. The following online exams that we are able to setup and proctor:

• HERS Rater Exam
• HERS Rating Field Inspector Exam
• HERS Combustions Safety (CAZ) Written Exam
• HERS Combustions Safety (CAZ) Practical Simulation Exam

If the Exam will not be proctored here at our office, the following approved locations are allowed to proctor HERS exams. Not all locations offer proctoring services.

• Libraries
• Testing Centers

These exams are only given online, and the student needs to provide their own laptop.

The RESNET exam fee varies by exam and is paid directly to RESNET by credit card (visa and mc only) at the time of taking the exam.

There is a $75 exams setup/proctoring fee charged by MABTEC that is paid at the time of the request.

NATE Test Proctoring

As an approved NATE testing facility, we offer proctoring of NATE exams. NATE, through Testing Organizations, offers a Core exam and multiple Specialty exams, for Installation or Service technicians. To earn certification, a technician most often will need to take and pass the Core AND one Specialty exam of their choice in the classification of their choice. Please refer to the opening pages of the KATEs for the exam of your choice to see requirements on the NATE website.

Testing is done on a ongoing basis and scheduled as the need arises. Most tests are given online.
